M/V DUET is an exceptional example of a classic [Price Reduced]
Downeast hull, thoughtfully and thoroughly modernized and updated so as to create a comfortable, handsome cruising classic. This Atlantic Boat Company, 1994 built/1995 Otis Enterprises finished (BHM) 32 spent most of its life in fresh water, returning to Maine in the fall of 2009 and was only recently purchased by its current owner in the Spring of 2010. The new owner embarked on an extensive and significant upgrading project, consisting primarily of cosmetic and electronics work, and did not launch until late summer 2010. A review of the recent upgrades is presented in the complete listing. A short cruise to Connecticut was the extent of the vessel's use following the re-fit. Personal considerations, with regrets, have led to this current offering. M/V DUET is a turn-key, thoroughly fit-out, manageable sized Downeast cruiser. It is fairly priced and ready to proudly go.

Hull & Deck
M/V DUET has been thoughtfully customized throughout, including her exterior cosmetics and hardware. The house and decks were Awlgrip painted in 2010 including the smooth surfaces and non-skid areas as well. Her larger cabin house and good-sized, but more modest, aft cockpit make her more of a "lobster yacht" than working lobster boat. Tasteful use of Sikkens Cetol treated teak trim is apparent, but new, handsome, but more importantly, functional custom stainless hand rails have been installed along the entire top of the house, as well as double stainless hand rails mounted below the fixed ports on the house. Combining these safety rails with a stainless bow rail that extends aft of mid-ship makes moving forward or aft comfortable as well as safe. There are three bench seats in the aft cockpit and a sliding door adjacent to the starboard helm. The foredeck features a teak bow platform with a Good automatic windlass. There is also a wide, teak swim platform aft.
