Atlantic Boat Company is looking for a full time purchasing agent. Duties include; ensuring proper stock levels are maintained, purchase materials, equipment, supplies and services in accordance with purchasing procedures, preparing, expediting, and completing purchase orders. Assist employees in initiating requisitions and orders. Checking that shipments received are complete and correct, resolving shipment errors with suppliers. Sorting and filing purchasing documents including data entry of received shipments, tracking available inventory and delivery schedules of future inventory. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to work independently, be very detail orientated, conscientious, organized and meticulous. Understand and follow through on both verbal and written instruction and have basic computer skills. Experience with operating a forklift, computer skills in QuickBooks and Excel a plus. Rate of pay based on experience.
