Tom and Beth Jacobs commissioned Atlantic Boat to build the LIZZY T. Hailing from Marblehead, MA, this Duffy 37 was built with fishing on their minds. Constructed of light-weight, foam-cored composite, this boat is very well equipped indeed: QSM 11 Cummins 670hp engine, 350 gallons fuel, 100 gallons water, insulated fish hold with chiller plates, and live well.
The varnished teak interior is filled with creature comforts include a v-berth forward, two bunks, a head with separate shower, galley-up, Corian® countertops in the head and galley, propane stove / oven, Nova Kool refrigeration, L-shaped settee with table, teak trim doors and drawers, and polished stainless rails and ladder. She sports a 3000 watt inverter; air conditioning; salt / fresh water wash-down; bow thruster; 6KW Westerbeke generator; steering stations at the main helm, flybridge, and cockpit; underwater lighting; and Northstar electronics. The LIZZY T cruises casually at 23 knots, with a top speed of 28 knots.
