Plans are in place for a low-key regatta known as the Shellback 2012 U. S. National Championships. The venue is Herrick Bay, home sailing water of Brooklin's top Shellback sailor in 2009, George Knapp. Easy launching and recovery is afforded by the ramp and dock of the Atlantic Boat Company off of Flye Pt. Rd. in Brooklin, ME. Multiple, short races are planned.
Races will be held on Saturday, July 28 and Saturday, September 29, 2012.
