Brooklin, Maine, February 13, 2012 -- Atlantic Boat Company is pleased to announce the addition of John M. Pratt as Manager of Service & Storage.

John comes to Atlantic Boat with over 25 years experience in the marine industry. Previously employed with the Hinckley Company, of Southwest Harbor, Maine, John served as Mechanical Supervisor/Technical Specialist and brings with him extensive mechanical and systems knowledge for both power and sail.

Atlantic Boat Company is a full service boat yard located on Herrick Bay (44º 15.65N, 68º 31.90W) with extensive waterfront facilities including service, refit, storage, moorings, and haul/launch services. Atlantic Boat is also builder of the complete line of DUFFY and BHM downeast yachts, sport fish, and commercial boats.

Brooklin, Maine, August 4, 2011 -- Atlantic Boat Company launched George Morris' new HOLY MOLY, hull number 393 of the DUFFY 35 model.

George approached Atlantic Boat with a challenge: build me a DUFFY 35 able to cruise long-range at 22 knots fully loaded at 80% engine load with large fuel capacity and fuel economy. The main goal was weight reduction, with sound reduction as a secondary goal.
