- Jobs estimated to cost over $5,000 require a deposit.
- While work is in progress, the owner may be asked to make additional deposits in order to keep the account balance under $5,000; these deposits shall be due upon request.
- All Work Orders shall be in writing and signed or e-mail acknowledged and authorized to proceed by the boat owner prior to the commencement of the work.
- Work Orders are accepted only on a time and materials basis at the current Atlantic Boat rates, unless other arrangements are specifically agreed upon in writing or e-mail acknowledged prior to the commencement of the work.
- All Change Orders, which modify the scope of the Work Order, are accepted on a time and materials basis only.
- In the event estimates for labor and materials have been made they shall not be considered binding; the charges shall be based on the labor and materials supplied.
