• The winter storage season is October 15 to June 15; boats stored through the summer will be charged our summer storage rate.
  • A 50% deposit is required with a signed storage agreement. Boat storage is charged by square footage, which is calculated as overall length by overall beam.
  • All boats must be insured. A Certificate of Insurance is required. It is the boat owner's responsibility to insure his or her boat while their boat is in storage, at the dock, on a mooring, and while having service performed at Atlantic Boat.
  • Boats, cars, equipment, etc. stored or left at the Yard are at the Owner's risk and it is assumed that the Owner shall carry insurance for protection against fire, theft, vandalism, and any other such hazard.
  • Access is required to the interior of all boats when hauled or launched. Combination locks are highly recommended; Atlantic Boat can install a combination lock at your request.
  • Wooden boats are subject to additional hauls and launches [due to swelling the wood] and shall be billed at the normal rate.
  • To ensure safe dockage all owners shall have appropriate lines and fenders onboard their boat prior to launching and hauling.
  • Boats not picked up on time will be stored on an Atlantic Boat mooring at the usual and customary daily rates.
  • Boats stored outside: Atlantic Boat shall not be responsible for water or weather damage (including snow load) in or on any boats that remain uncovered, covered by customers, or when covered by Atlantic Boat personnel in severe weather situations.
  • Atlantic Boat's policy is that yachts shall not be stored with the mast(s) stepped or with any mast placed on deck.
  • Boat launching and hauling will be scheduled during regular working hours; labor outside regular hours shall be subject to a higher labor rate. The Yard will not be obligated to launch or haul a boat with less than two week's notice.
